Made some higher res versions of some of the DGS cast’s crests… the Asougi one looks a bit off (I think the circles are too large or something?) but idk if I care enough to fix it.
I might do the Van Zieks one at some point, but it looks like it’d be a doozy to try and work with.
Sort of old news at this point (though I only now found out about it lmao), but there have been two new scale figurines of Phoenix and Miles announced.
There are also two chibi-proportioned (nendroid?) ones of Maya and Apollo, but there’s no final model for those yet by the looks of it, only a 2D design.
Since everything I’ve ordered from this company (Good Smile Company) has been limited release, keep a look out for the release date!
Nothing more spooky than a few murder investigations, amirite?
As always, this post will contain SPOILERS. This one contains them for:
Do note that this post concerns only titles with an English release, so GK2 dates will not be present. All information is taken from the Ace Attorney Wiki’s timeline. I will also assume DGS takes place around 1900 and will use that year as a benchmark.
Also worth mentioning, October 7th is Recycle Your Plastics Day! Don’t forget to recycle those plastics and give your annual gifts, people!
Heere we go
On nights where everyone in the WAA is stuck working late, I’m willing to bet that Trucy sets up a little slumber party, with sleeping bags, cutesy refreshments, etc…
Even if everyone else thinks it’s a bit silly sometimes, it always helps make working into the wee hours of the morning just that much more bearable.
Need more Ace Attorney cases to happen on holidays… love hijacking festivities to talk about some guy getting murdered or something
With how utterly unpredictable trials are in the AA universe, at least the ones with main characters involved, I wouldn’t be surprised if people regularly bet money on outcomes.
There’s probably even someone that made a bingo card with things like “animal called onto stand” on it and just plays whenever a trial comes up lmao
I know that localizing DGS was tedious because of the distinctly Japanese viewpoint, but like… I actually really enjoyed that aspect of the game. It’s nice to learn a bit about differing perspectives and social dynamics, even if that’s through a video game rather than reading a book on it.
I wouldn’t mind more games sort of like this one, that fully commits to being one country. Not AA7 though… I feel like the localized main series has committed to the weird Japanifornia vibe to such a point that it’d feel weird being any other way lmao
I still think it’s funny that Hosonaga overtook Susato in that popularity poll last year… to be fair I think he deserved it lmao
Honestly I’m not even sure who I’d put first in my book… They’re both fantastic characters in their own strengths and categories.
It’d be cool to have a sort of… spy-thriller esque Ace Attorney game? Sort of like, you have to prove some testimony/collect important evidence while also dodging the “evil” organization that’s trying to hunt you down.
SoJ is sort of like that at the end but not really? Also aside from maybe Athena I can’t see much of the main cast being good spies (or something similar) so this hypothetical game might do better with a whole new cast of characters.
